Grand ceremony organized in connection with Marka-e-Haq

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th May, 2026) A grand ceremony was organized here Sunday at the Government Degree College and Postgraduate Center Latifabad No. 11 on the completion of one year of the " Marka-e-Haq (Battle of Truth) to express solidarity with the armed forces.

Chairman Staff Club Professor Bhoj Raj Lohana, Secretary Staff Club Professor Rao Nazim Ali and Professor Abdul Wahid made grand arrangements. The ceremony was attended by Additional Director Colleges Hyderabad (HR) Professor Aftab Rajput, Senior Professor Asif Zahoori, Professor Hassan Iqbal Kazmi, SP Police Headquarters Zain Ali Baloch, Assistant Commissioner Latifabad Saud Lund, Principal Professor Dr. Sheikh Mujibullah Mansoori, former Principal Hanif Khan Durrani, business leader Mahmood Ali Rajput, a large number of distinguished professors and students.

The ceremony began with the recitation from the Holy Quran and Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (S.A.W)

Chairman of the Staff Committee, Professor Bhojraj Lohana, delivered the welcome address, while Professor Asif Zahoori delivered an enthusiastic speech on the occasion.

In memory of the sacrifices by the soldiers of Pakistan Army, a match was played between "Degree College White" and "Degree College Blue", which was won by the Degree College White.

Immediately after the match, an enthusiastic solidarity rally was taken out in favor of the armed forces of Pakistan within the College premises.

Special guest, Professor Aftab Rajput, SP Zain Raza Baloch, Mahmood Ali Rajput, Principal Mujeebullah Mansoori cut the cake and first-year student Umar Siddiqui also delivered an enthusiastic speech.

The distinguished guests were presented with traditional gifts of Sindhi topi and ajrak, while trophies and shields were distributed among the players and talented students.

A magnificent fireworks display was performed.

In the cultural segment, student Abdul Hafeez presented the Sufi poetry of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai, followed by a musical concert featuring national songs added to the excitement of the gathering.

At the end of the ceremony, the College administration organized a lavish dinner for all the guests, professors and media representatives.
