Governor, Qadri discuss political situation, religious harmony

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd May, 2026) Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Saturday held a meeting with former Federal minister Pir Noor-ul-Haq Qadri and Provincial Minister Adnan Qadri at Governor's House, where they discussed the political situation in the province and issues being faced by the public.

The meeting also discussed promotion of religious tolerance, sectarian harmony and mutual respect in society.

Speaking on the occasion, Governor Faisal Karim Kundi said that pulpit, prayer niche and shrines had an important role in establishment of durable peace in society.

He said Governor House had always prioritized hosting all schools of thought and encouraging a positive role for harmony and unity.

Pir Noor-ul-Haq Qadri and Adnan Qadri appreciated the Governor’s efforts for promotion of religious harmony and also praised his role regarding protection of provincial rights.
