Governor praises Forces for eliminating six terrorists in Dir

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jun, 2026) Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Wednesday paid tribute to security forces for a successful operation against Fitna Al-Khawarij in Lower Dir, commending the bravery and professionalism of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and police personnel.

The Governor lauded the joint operation carried out by the CTD and police, in which six highly wanted terrorists belonging to Fitna Al-Khawarij were killed.

He appreciated the role of senior officials and personnel involved in the operation, saying their efforts reflected a high level of professionalism and commitment to maintaining peace and security in the province.

Governor Kundi said the CTD and police had successfully eliminated enemies of humanity backed by India, demonstrating their operational capabilities and playing a vital role in curbing militancy and restoring peace in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He said the people of the province were proud of the sacrifices and services rendered by the CTD and police in the fight against terrorism and for the protection of citizens.
