Governor, Opposition Leader discuss law and order, political situation in KP

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th May, 2026) Leader of the Opposition in Provincial Assembly Dr Ibadullah called on Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi at Governor House on Friday and discussed the deteriorating law and order situation and overall political scenario in the province.

During the meeting, both leaders termed the worsening security situation a result of the incompetence of the provincial government and described its silence over the matter as criminal negligence and against the interests of the province and its people.

They also expressed concern over the closure of CNG stations in the province and the difficulties being faced by the public due to the shortage of gas supply.

The meeting further discussed the increase in flour prices in the province following restrictions on wheat supply from Punjab, which, they said, had added to the hardships of the people.
