Gold prices surge by Rs4,643 to Rs442,636 per tola

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Jun, 2026) The prices of gold witnessed a significant increase in the local market on Monday, with the per tola rate rising by Rs4,643 to reach Rs442,636 as compared to Rs437,993 on the previous trading day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

The price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also increased by Rs4,179 to Rs378,345 from Rs374,166, whereas the price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold went up by Rs3,793 to Rs347,083 from Rs343,290.

In the international market, the price of gold increased by $46.43 to $4,202.00 from $4,155.57, the association reported.

Meanwhile, the prices of silver also registered a sharp increase in the domestic market, with per tola silver rising by Rs189 to Rs7,151 from Rs6,962, while the rate of 10 grams of silver climbed by Rs170 to Rs6,079 from Rs5,909.

In the international market, silver prices increased by $1.886 to $66.714 from $64.828, according to the association.
