Gold prices decline by Rs 2,200 per tola

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd May, 2026) The prices of gold decreased in the local market on Saturday, with 24 karat gold per tola falling by Rs 2,200 to settle at Rs 473,162 compared to Rs 475,362 on the previous trading day, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold decreased by Rs 1,886 to Rs 405,660 from Rs 407,546, whereas 10 grams of 22 karat gold went down by Rs 1,729 to Rs 371,868 against Rs 373,597.

In the international market, the price of gold decreased by $22 to $4,508 per ounce from $4,530.

Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola remained unchanged at Rs 8,034, while the price of 10 grams of silver stayed stable at Rs 6,887.

The price of silver in the international market also remained unchanged at $75.50 per ounce.
