Girl crush to death in a road accident

BAHAWALPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th May, 2026) A girl was crushed to death after being hit by a speeding bus in the Khanda Mor area of Khairpur Tamewali tehsil,rescue officials said on Saturday.

According to Rescue 1122 Punjab,the child was crossing the road along with her aunt via a green belt when she stepped onto the road and was struck by a bus traveling from Bahawalpur to Hasilpur.

Officials said the impact left her with severe crush injuries,causing her death on the spot.

The deceased was identified as AlishBA(7) r/o Khanda Mor,Khairpur Tamewali.

Rescue teams shifted the body to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital,Khairpur Tamewali for medico-legal formalities.

Local police have launched an investigation into the incident,while further inquiries was underway.
