GDA, TCF conclude Dastak teacher training programme in Nathiagali

NATHIAGALI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th May, 2026) The Galiyat Development Authority, in collaboration with The Citizens Foundation and Blooms Pakistan Society, successfully concluded the “Dastak Teacher Training Programme,” a flagship initiative aimed at enhancing the professional capabilities of teachers serving across the Galiyat region.

A total of 109 nominated teachers, including 41 female and 68 male participants, actively took part in the programme. The participants completed 36 hours of live and interactive learning sessions focused on strengthening classroom management skills and improving effective teaching practices.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, officials highlighted the importance of professional development programmes for teachers and reiterated their commitment to improving the quality of education in the region through capacity-building initiatives.

During the ceremony, Director Tourism Usman Ali Khan, Assistant Director GDA Ahsan Hameed, and Assistant Director Tourism Junaid Yousafzai distributed certificates among the participating teachers in recognition of their successful completion of the programme.

Shields were also presented to distinguished guests for their valuable support and contributions toward the successful execution of the initiative.
