FPCCI, ICCD to jointly organize AgriFood Conference & Expo on May 14

The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), in collaboration with the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development (ICCD), is set to organize the “AgriFood: Global Investment and Partnership Conference & Expo” on May 14, 2026 in Karachi

KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Apr, 2026) The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), in collaboration with the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development (ICCD), is set to organize the “AgriFood: Global Investment and Partnership Conference & Expo” on May 14, 2026 in Karachi.

President FPCCI Atif Ikram Sheikh, in a statement issued on Thursday, informed that the event will serve as a vital platform for enhancing trade linkages, attracting investment and showcasing Pakistan’s potential in agriculture- which remained a cornerstone of the national economy.

The event will be participated by representatives from Agriculture Chambers across all provinces and prominent chambers of commerce and industry along with leaders of key sectoral associations, including pesticides, fertilizer, seeds, allied industries and academia.

The joint initiative reflects a shared commitment to promote investment, strengthen international partnerships and unlock the vast potential of Pakistan’s agriculture and agri-based industries, Atif Ikram emphasized, expressing FPCCI’s commitment to ensure the event is impactful and result-oriented by facilitating meaningful engagement between local and international stakeholders in the agri-food sector.

Broader high-profile participation including the international delegates and members of the diplomatic community will be facilitated, he maintained.
