Former tehsildar among three booked in fake land transfer case

MUZAFFARGARH, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th May, 2026) The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Muzaffargarh has registered a case against three persons,including a former tehsildar, for allegedly preparing forged documents to execute a fake land transfer,officials said on Monday.

According to ACE sources,the case was lodged on the complaint of a citizen,Mukhtiar Dogar against former tehsildar Irshad Hussain Lashari,an SEO official and a private individual identified as Muhammad Munir.

The complainant alleged that the accused fabricated official documents and used them to make an illegal entry of land transfer in the revenue record.

Following the registration of the case,the ACE team arrested the SEO official, while the former tehsildar and the private individual managed to escape.

Officials said raids were being conducted to arrest the absconding suspects while further investigation was underway.
