Flag hoisting ceremony marks Pakistan Day

BAHAWALPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Mar, 2026) A dignified flag-hoisting ceremony was held at the historic Government Sadiq Daan Model High school, Bahawalpur, to mark Pakistan Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The ceremony was attended by Chief Executive Officer (Education) Tawakal Hussain, education department officials, Rescue 1122 personnel, teachers, and a large number of students.

They also noted that March 23 holds a prominent place in national history as it commemorates the Lahore Resolution, which laid the foundation for the establishment of a separate homeland for the Muslims of the subcontinent.
