The operation was jointly conducted by Saddar police station and the Forest Department following reports of violations of a province-wide hunting ban. Officials confirmed that the suspects were directly involved in the unlawful hunting of the birds and were taken into custody during the crackdown.

Police added that a case has been registered against the accused under relevant legal provisions, and formal legal proceedings have been initiated.

Authorities emphasized that strict enforcement will continue to curb illegal hunting activities in the region. Surveillance and monitoring systems are being strengthened to prevent further violations.

A senior forest official noted that the ban on hunting was imposed across the province under the directives of Secretary of Forests and Wildlife, and warned that anyone found violating the ban will face strict and indiscriminate legal action.

Officials reiterated their commitment to protecting wildlife and maintaining ecological balance in the region through sustained enforcement efforts.
