Five arrested for attempted murder over domestic dispute in Lahore’s Kot Lakhpat

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Apr, 2026) Kot Lakhpat police arrested five suspects for allegedly attempting to murder two men during a domestic dispute,officials said on Monday.

Police said a quarrel erupted between a husband and wife last night,after which a 15 emergency call was received regarding a domestic issue in the Kot Lakhpat area.

Upon reaching the scene,police arrested five accused involved in the alleged knife attack.

The suspects reportedly assaulted their brother-in-law and his younger brother.

The victims,identified as Allahyar and Naveed sustained serious injuries to their back and shoulders and were shifted to hospital.

According to police,the arrested suspects were identified as Shakeel,Afzal,Ramzan,Omar and Sultan.

SP Model Town said those taking the law into their own hands would not be shown any leniency,adding that further investigation was underway.
