Fire breaks out in trailer carrying cotton bales

PATTOKI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Mar, 2026) A fire broke out in a 22-wheeler trailer carrying cotton bales on the Multan Road here near the Mullanwala bypass , the Rescue 1122 officials said on Tuesday.

The Rescue teams promptly rushed to the scene and the managed to bring the fire under control after a swift operation.

Cooling efforts were still under way to eliminate any risk of the fire reigniting, the officials added.

The cause of the fire could not be immediately determined, they added.
