ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Jul, 2026) Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry on Wednesday paid tribute to the jawans of the armed forces for their unprecedented role in the fight against terrorism, saying they continue to make immense sacrifices to ensure peace and security in the country.

Speaking to a private television channel, the minister said the armed forces personnel were laying down their lives for the protection of Pakistan and the safety of its citizens, acknowledging their unwavering commitment in the war against terror.

Highlighting Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts, Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said the country’s leadership had played a constructive

role in facilitating dialogue between the United States and Iran.

He added that Pakistan remained committed to promoting lasting peace and stability in the region and would continue its efforts for peace in collaboration with friendly countries.

Responding to a question about Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), the minister criticized the party for engaging in what he described as blame-game politics.

He emphasized that dialogue remained the only viable way to resolve political differences and address national issues through democratic means.
