Federal Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif condoles demise of PA speaker's sister

Federal Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif called on Punjab Assembly (PA) Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan here on Thursday and extended his condolences on the demise of the speaker's sister

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Apr, 2026) Federal Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif called on Punjab Assembly (PA) Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan here on Thursday and extended his condolences on the demise of the speaker's sister.

The Federal Minister expressed profound grief and sorrow over the passing of the deceased and offered 'Fateha' for the repose of her soul.

He prayed that may Almighty Allah elevate the ranks of the departed soul and grant fortitude and patience to the bereaved family.

On this occasion, Members of the Provincial Assembly Malik Ahmad Saeed Khan, Rana Muhammad Fayyaz, Rana Arshad and others were also present.

Meanwhile, the Head of the British High Commission in Lahore, Ben Warrington, also called on Punjab Assembly Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan to offer condolences and express deep sorrow over the demise of the speaker’s sister.

On this occasion, Senior Political Adviser of the British High Commission, Syed Owais Shah and others were also present.
