Federal budget focused on relief, public welfare: Bashir Memon

KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Jun, 2026) Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Sindh Chapter President Bashir Memon on Friday said that the Federal budget is focused on relief, public welfare and reduction of burden on salaried class.

He said that the budget proposals will not only provide relief in taxes to the salaried class but also improve the economic conditions in the country.

While talking to APP on budget 2026-27, he said that PML-N leadership has always worked for the people and their wellbeing.

Memon said that the provision of relief to the people is priority of the federal government and it has taken measures in this budget to this effect.

Commenting on reduction in tax slabs and abolition of surcharge, he said that the proposal will definitely help provide relief to the salaried class.

The PML-N leader said that the government has tried to provide every possible relief to the people, in spite of challenges, in this budget.
