FDA DG meets citizens under open door policy

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jun, 2026) Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) Director General Muhammad Asif Chaudhry

met with citizens under the Open Door Policy and listened in detail to their complaints

and issues.

He issued necessary instructions to the officers concerned for the immediate resolution

of public grievances. On this occasion, various applications were received and reviewed.

The FDA Director General emphasized that timely and transparent resolution of citizens'

problems remains the organization's top priority.

He directed the authorities to further intensify operations against illegal encroachments,

land grabbers, unauthorized constructions and illegal housing schemes, and stressed that

public complaints in this regard should be addressed without delay.

He stated that improving the standard of public service and providing maximum facilities

to citizens is the fundamental responsibility of the authority.

He directed the officers concerned to ensure that all received applications and complaints

were processed within the stipulated timeframe so that no applicant faces unnecessary

delays or inconvenience.

He further stated that several reform initiatives were underway to make FDA's service

delivery system more effective, transparent, and citizen-friendly.

These reforms aim to enhance institutional performance, promote accountability, introduce

modern administrative practices and ensure faster and easier delivery of public services,

he added.

He informed that through digitalization, effective monitoring and modern management practices,

better facilities were being provided to citizens while the performance of various departments

was being continuously monitored and evaluated.

Muhammad Asif Chaudhry reiterated his commitment to utilizing all available resources

to transform FDA into a modern, transparent, accountable, and public-friendly institution,

enabling the prompt, effective, and sustainable resolution of citizens' issues.

He added that the reform process would continue consistently to uphold public trust and

maintain high standards of service delivery.

During the meeting, citizens appreciated the FDA Director General over listening to their

concerns with patience, issuing prompt directives for their resolution and implementing

reform measures for improving the service delivery system within FDA.

They thanked FDA Director General Muhammad Asif Chaudhry and expressed hope that

the ongoing public welfare initiatives would provide greater convenience and relief to the

citizens.
