Father, son killed in accident

BOUREWALA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd May, 2026) A father and his teenage son were killed in a tragic traffic accident near Machhiwal on Vehari Road.

Rescue officials said that a speeding van hit a motorcycle from behind, resulting in the death of Abdul Razzaq, aged around 60, while his son Hammad succumbed to injuries on the spot.

Sources said the deceased father and son were on their way to a cattle market to purchase sacrificial animals when the accident occurred.

Rescuers rushed to the scene soon after receiving information and shifted the bodies to THQ Hospital under police custody.

Both victims were said to be residents of 451/EB.
