Faisalabad on May 9 to provide an opportunity for students of the division to show

their athletic talent in a wide range of track and field events.

A spokesman for the sports department said here on Monday that the championship is exclusively open to boys and girls from classes 6 to 12 studying in educational institutions across Faisalabad division.

The boys’ competitions would be held on May 09, 2026 while the girls’ events are scheduled for May 10, he added.

He said that the competitions would include various track and field events such as 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m and 5000m races, 110m hurdles, 4x400m relay races, long jump, triple jump, high jump, shot put, discus throw, javelin throw and other athletic disciplines.

The venue for the championship has been set as the Athletics Track located at Firdous Colony Jhang Road Faisalabad, he added.
