FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th May, 2026) The religious scholars (Ulema) said that entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with Pak armed forces as Pakistan crushes enemy aggression in Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos while the successful targeting of major Indian military and defense installations has demonstrated the strength, unity and unwavering resolve of Pakistan against all forms of hostility and aggression.
Addressing a Juma congregation at Jamia Masjid Gol in Ghulam Muhammad Abad here on Friday, Maulana Imdad-ul-Hassan Nomani Director Khatm-e-Nabuwwat education Centre Birmingham UK said that Allah Almighty loves those who stand united like a fortified wall while fighting in His way, as described in the Holy Quran.
He said that the entire country was celebrating the success of “Marka-e-Haq” with national spirit and unity.
He said that Pakistan’s armed forces responded to enemy aggression with remarkable courage, speed and professionalism, crushing arrogance of the enemy and proving that the Pakistan Air Force, Army and Navy were fully capable of defending every inch of the homeland.
He said that the bravery, sacrifices and coordinated strategy of the Pak armed forces had made it clear that the Pakistani nation and its military stood like an iron wall against any aggression.
Maulana Nomani said that Pakistan had emerged as a strong advocate of peace in the world after the success of Marka-e-Haq and also achieved significant diplomatic successes at the international level.
Speaking on the occasion, Sahibzada Maulana Zahid Mahmood Qasmi Chairman Ulema Council Pakistan (UCP) welcomed the announcement of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif regarding observing May 10 every year as “Youm-e-Marka-e-Haq” at the national level.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>He said that Ulema Council Pakistan fully supported the decision and paid tribute to the martyrs and brave armed forces of the country for their sacrifices and commitment to national defense.
He said that love for the homeland was a natural emotion while defending the country was a religious obligation under Islamic teachings. Protection of religion, life, wealth and honor formed the foundation of Shariah principles, he added.
Zahid Qasmi said that those sacrificing their lives in defense of religion and country deserved the status of martyrs, adding that guarding the borders and ensuring national security was a form of great worship and an important aspect of jihad.
He said that peace in the country was a great blessing and emphasized that strengthening the armed forces was imperative for maintaining peace, stability and sovereignty.
The religious leader said that Pakistan had achieved important successes in recent years under the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, adding that the Pak-Saudi defense agreement also proved to be a significant milestone for regional stability and defense cooperation.
He further said that elimination of extremist elements and hostile conspiracies against Pakistan was among major achievements of the state and stressed that operations against terrorists involved in the killing of innocent people and religious scholars should continue without interruption.
Later, special prayers were also offered during the gathering for Pakistan’s progress, security, unity, prosperity and lasting peace.
