Election Commissioner reviews measures for re-polling of PB-36 Kalat to be on March 10

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Mar, 2026) Provincial Election Commissioner Balochistan Ali Asghar Sial on Wednesday presided over a meeting regarding the re-polling of 7 polling station of PB-36 Kalat of Provincial Assembly Balochistan to be held on March 10, 26.

The meeting was attended by Joint Provincial Election Commissioner Balochistan, Syed Waseem Ahmed Jafri, Commissioner Kalat Division Tufail Ahmed Baloch, DIG Kalat Wazir Khan Nasir, Director Election Abdullah, Director Admin Naeem Ahmed, Regional Election Commissioner Kalat Division Sikandar Ali Jamali, DRO and Deputy Commissioner Kalat Munir Ahmed Durrani, Returning Officer PB-36 Shah Nawaz Baloch, SSP Kalat Syed Zahid Hussain Shah and other relevant officers.

The meeting was reviewed the arrangements for conducting transparent and peaceful elections at the seven polling stations concerned.

Security issues, including the deployment of Pakistan Army and FC personnel at highly sensitive polling stations, were also discussed during the meeting.

On this occasion, Provincial Election Commissioner Ali Asghar Sial directed that the deployment of impartial and qualified election staff should be ensured and foolproof security arrangements should be made.

He said that no effort should be left to provide a peaceful environment to voters at polling stations so that all voters could exercise their right to vote in a free environment.
