According to details, markets across the region are witnessing a heavy rush of customers, particularly women and children, who are purchasing garments, jewelry and cosmetics for the upcoming festival.

Major markets in Abbottabad, Haripur, Mansehra and other towns of the region are bustling with shoppers. In Abbottabad, shopping centers including Mandian, Jadoon Plaza and the Main Bazaar have become key attractions for women shoppers. Besides buying Eid dresses, bangles and other accessories, many visitors are also availing beauty salon services available in these commercial areas.

Abbottabad, considered the commercial hub of the Hazara Division, is attracting shoppers from across the region. With the weather remaining pleasant, people from surrounding districts are visiting the city to purchase their favourite Eid items, resulting in overcrowded markets.

The surge in shoppers has also affected traffic flow on the city’s main roads, where traffic congestion has become a routine issue for commuters during the peak shopping hours.

Along with garments, shoes and jewelry, bakery and sweet items are also an essential part of Eid celebrations. Customers are thronging bakeries and sweet shops to buy various traditional sweets and bakery products, and most major outlets are witnessing a significant rush of buyers as the festival approaches.
