Eid Preparations: Experts conduct Veterinary Treatment

BAHAWALPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th May, 2026) A free Veterinary Treatment Camp was organized from at Cattle Market, Bahawalpur, by the Department of Clinical Medicine and Surgery, Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, before falling of the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.

According to an official press release issued here, more than 200 animals were examined and provided free treatment, consultation, and preventive healthcare services. Guidance regarding the care, disease prevention, feeding, handling, and management of sacrificial animals was also provided to livestock owners.

Animal sellers and buyers appreciated the initiative and benefited from veterinary advice on the welfare and management of sacrificial animals.

Meanwhile, Dr. Khalid Mansoor, Dean Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences appreciated the department’s efforts and highlighted the importance of such outreach activities in promoting livestock health and welfare during Eid-ul-Adha.
