Educational institutions closed in Kurram due to security situation

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Mar, 2026) All educational institutions in Kurram district have been closed due to the security situation near the

border.

According to the Deputy Commissioner office Kurram on Tuesday, all public and private schools, colleges

and other educational institutions in the district will remain closed until further notice.

The decision was taken to ensure the safety of students, teachers and staff members.

Earlier, similar orders to close educational institutions had also been issued in other border districts, including

Khyber, North Waziristan and Bajaur..
