DVC meeting held to review social security cards' implementation

CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Apr, 2026) A meeting of the District Vigilance Committee (DVC) on Thursday was held under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner General Wasiq Abbas Hurl, where the implementation of social security cards was reviewed in detail.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the District Officer (Labour), the Social Security Department, labour unions and other relevant departments.

The ADC directed authorities to complete the registration of all workers at the earliest and ensure the timely issuance of social security cards to provide them with essential protection and documentation.

He said safeguarding labour rights was s top priority of the government and said that no negligence would be tolerated in that regard.

The meeting also decided to strengthen field monitoring and take legal action against those found responsible for any violations.
