Drugs, illegal weapons, and stolen vehicles seized

MUZAFFARGARH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Mar, 2026) Kot Addu City Police carried out successful operations against criminal elements, resulting in the recovery of drugs, illegal weapons, and stolen vehicles, along with the arrest of several suspects.

According to police, a major crackdown targeted drug dealers and theft suspects, leading to the seizure of narcotics, illegal arms, and liquor.

During the operation, 1,210 grams of cannabis were recovered from Gulshan Mashori, and a case was registered under Section 9C. Similarly, 1,155 grams of cannabis were seized from Zigham Bibi, with another case registered under the same section.

Police also recovered 25 liters of illegal liquor from Hanif Akhtar Mashori, leading to registration of a case under relevant sections of law A.

30 bore pistol was recovered from Rahim Bakhsh, and a case was registered accordingly.

In efforts against vehicle theft, Asad Niazi was arrested with two stolen motorcycles (CD/70 and Honda 125). Additionally, Ali Rasheed and Muhammad Imran were apprehended with a stolen rickshaw, and cases were registered against them.

Police officials stated that such operations would continue regularly to curb crime, emphasizing that no criminal would be beyond the reach of the law.

Authorities also urged citizens to report any suspicious activity promptly, assuring that their identities would be kept strictly confidential.
