Dr. Ramesh Kumar Vankwani extends Eid al-Adha greetings

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th May, 2026) Senior minority parliamentarian and patron-in-chief of the Pakistan Hindu Council, Dr. Ramesh Kumar Vankwani, on the occasion of Eid al-Adha has extended heartfelt Eid greetings to people across Pakistan and around the world, particularly to the fortunate pilgrims performing Hajj.

Dr. Vankwani has won appreciation from prospective Pakistani pilgrims after calling for the restoration of the sea route for Hajj, said a press release issued here on Wednesday.

He said he listens to the Hajj sermon with great interest every year, noting that the grand gathering of Hajj underscores that all humans are equal in the eyes of the Creator.

He added that true merit lies in a person’s character, piety, and spirit of serving suffering humanity.

Dr. Vankwani said that since Pakistan has natural access to the Arabian Sea, restoring the sea route from Karachi to Saudi Arabia could help reduce travel costs for pilgrims.

He further commended Saudi Arabia for once again hosting millions of pilgrims successfully through advanced technology, travel facilities, medical services, and effective arrangements for the world’s largest spiritual gathering.

Dr. Vankwani expressed his wishes for peace, prosperity, interfaith respect, and the promotion of the spirit of service to humanity in Pakistan and across the world.
