DPO Dera reviews Eid security arrangements in markets

Dera Ismail Khan, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Mar, 2026) District Police Officer (DPO) Dera Ismail Khan, Ziauddin Ahmad, visited various bazaars and markets in the city to review security arrangements and facilitate citizens ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr.

He was accompanied by SP City Division Murtaza Khan Bangash, DSP City and Traffic Malik Abid Iqbal, Anwar Khattak, and SHO City Khanzaada Khan.

During the visit, the DPO interacted with citizens, traders, and shoppers in a cordial environment, inquiring about any difficulties faced during Eid shopping.

On the occasion, Ziauddin Ahmad directed the concerned officials to ensure comprehensive security measures, smooth traffic flow, and courteous behavior with the public. He emphasized that providing maximum facilities to citizens during Eid remains the police’s top priority.

He further stated that the police force is committed to safeguarding the lives and property of citizens, adding that personnel continue to perform their duties with dedication even during festive occasions, and no negligence will be tolerated during the Eid days.
