DPM reviews SDGs achievement programme

Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar Friday chaired a Steering Committee meeting of the SDGs Achievement Programme (SAP)

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd May, 2026) Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar Friday chaired a Steering Committee meeting of the SDGs Achievement Programme (SAP).

The committee reviewed the SDGs Achievement Programme and expressed satisfaction with its progress.

It further directed that any savings from previous years may be utilized within the same sector and province.

DPM/FM reiterated the importance of involving local communities in identifying infrastructure development schemes so that SAP funds are utilized in the best interest of the people of Pakistan.

The meeting was attended by the Minister for IPC, the Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Ms. Shazia Marri MNA, Tariq Bajwa SAPM, the Secretary Cabinet, and senior officials from relevant ministries.
