DPM/FM chairs meeting on development, management of Hazrat Bari Imam Shrine

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jun, 2026) Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, on Wednesday, chaired a meeting of the committee for the development and management of the Hazrat Bari Imam Shrine.

The committee held thorough deliberations regarding the preparations to hold the ‘Chadar Poshi’ ceremony’ on 14th August and the ‘Urs Mubarak’ of Hazrat Bari Imam Sarkar on 15th to 17th August this year, DPM Office said in a press release.

The meeting was attended by the Minister for Railways, Minister of State on Interior and Narcotics, Talal Chaudhry, Interior Secretary, Chief Commissioner Islamabad, District Commissioner Islamabad, Lt Gen (Retd) Afzal Janjua, Raja Sarfraz Akram, Gauhar Zahid Malik and Sohail Bhatti.

The DPM/FM appreciated committee members for their dedication and contribution for this spiritual cause. He directed the sub-committee headed by Railways Minister to oversee and expedite the work of upkeeping, maintenance, and the construction of the Shrine.
