District Development review committee meets in Chiniot to assess ongoing projects

CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th May, 2026) A meeting of the District Development Review Committee was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan to review the progress of ongoing development schemes and assess various projects across the district.

Deputy Director Development Muhammad Saeed gave a detailed briefing on development projects, fund utilization, and the status of current schemes.

The performance of different departments and the pace of development work were also examined during the session.

Officers from relevant departments, including Axion Highways Muhammad Ahmed and Axion Building Muhammad Adnan, attended the meeting along with other officials. The committee discussed measures to accelerate work and address bottlenecks in execution.

Ayesha directed the concerned officers to complete development projects within the stipulated timeline and to pay special attention to quality standards.

She stressed that timely completion and quality work were essential to ensure better facilities for the public.
