Dist administration carries out inspection to ensure official rates, transparency

KOHAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Mar, 2026) The administrative officers on Tuesday carried out inspections in Kohat and Gumbat on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Nawaz to ensure public service delivery, price control and transparency, the officials said.

Additional Assistant Commissioner (AAC), Revenue, Ibrahim Khan inspected shops at KDA Bazaar and Gulu Bera Chowk, checking price lists, food quality and cleanliness.

The authorities also removed encroachments and fined violators.

In Gumbat, AAC Syed Mukhtiar Shah visited the Service Delivery Center, where he heard public complaints and ordered immediate action for their resolution.

The tehsildar and naib tehsildar were also present.

The teams later inspected several patwar offices, reviewed land records, including Khusrha Gardawari registers, and directed staff to prominently display government fees and procedures to improve public awareness.

In a separate visit, the official teams inspected Billi Tang Bazaar, checking grocery stores, fruit and vegetable vendors, bakeries and food stalls for compliance with official price lists and hygiene standards.

The shopkeepers were instructed to strictly follow government rates, maintain cleanliness and provide quality food items to the customers.
