Dera police arrest two proclaimed offenders wanted in murder cases

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Jun, 2026) The Dera police have arrested two proclaimed offenders wanted in multiple murder, attempted murder and other criminal cases during a targeted operation conducted within the jurisdiction of Paniala Police Station.

According to police spokesman, a police team led by DSP Paniala Circle Sardar Alamgir Khan along with SHO Paniala Asghar Khan Wazir carried out a successful operation.

During the operation, police arrested Samar Din son of Sakhi Jan, a resident of Khani, and Mudassar, son of Nasrullah, a resident of Katta Khel, who were wanted in several cases registered at Paniala Police Station, including murder, attempted murder and illegal weapons offences.

During the arrests, the police also recovered one Kalashnikov along with 15 rounds of ammunition and Rs15,000 in cash from the suspects' possession. Further investigation is underway.

DSP Sardar Alamgir Khan said operations against criminals and anti-social elements would be continued without any discrimination to maintain law and order and ensure public safety.
