Death sentence for murderer in Chiniot case

CHINIOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Mar, 2026) Additional Sessions Judge Lalian Fayyaz Ahmed announced a verdict in the murder case of Police Station Muhammad Wala, sentencing Sajjad to death and a fine of Rs 700,000. The case was registered against Sajjad Hussain under Sections 302/394/34 of the IPC.

Naveed Atif praised the conviction, stating it aligned with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif's vision for quality investigation and punishment. The police presented strong evidence in court.
