DC visits victims of fatal Mirakhel accident; directs best medical care

BANNU, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Apr, 2026) Following the tragic accident in Mirakhel area last night, Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Fahim on Saturday visited District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital to personally inquire after health of four surviving victims.

Accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner Umar Khattab and Assistant Commissioner Allah Nawaz, the DC met with injured and assured them for good treatment. He also issued strict directives to paramedics to ensure provision of high-quality treatment for injured.

During the visit, he also met with families of those who lost their lives, offering his condolences and assuring them of the administration's full cooperation during this difficult time.

The incident occurred within jurisdiction of DI Khan Road Police Station when a speeding pickup truck collided with a rickshaw and a motorcycle that resulted in immediate deaths of four individuals, including a man, a woman, and children, while leaving four others in critical condition.

Response teams from Rescue 1122 arrived quickly at the scene to provide emergency medical aid before shifting them to DHQ Hospital for specialized care.
