DC Reviews Route of 21st Ramazan Procession

SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Mar, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Saba Asghar Ali on Tuesday visited and reviewed the route

of the procession to be taken out on 21st Ramazan in connection with the

martyrdom of Hazrat Ali (RA).

Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Naeem Bashir, DSP Special Branch Sheikh Ilyas, Chief Officer Municipal Corporation Zubair Wattoo, and other officials accompanied her during the visit.

The deputy commissioner also visited the Central Imambargah Adda Pasrurian where she reviewed

security and administrative arrangements and met with procession organisers to discuss

facilities and other matters.

Saba Asghar Ali said the district administration and Municipal Corporation would ensure removal of encroachments along the procession route as per tradition. She said patchwork of roads, cleanliness, street lighting and backup generators would also be arranged to facilitate mourners.

Later, the deputy commissioner also visited Government Allama Iqbal Memorial Teaching Hospital Sialkot, where she inquired after patients and distributed fruits and iftar items among them. She directed the hospital administration to ensure the best possible medical facilities and proper care for patients.
