DC reviews government properties to explore revenue generation opportunities

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Jun, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry visited several government-owned

properties across the city on Tuesday to assess their potential for generating

additional public revenue.

According to the spokesperson for the DC office here, the DC was accompanied by

Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Ahmed Haroon and Assistant Commissioner

Ahmed Sher Gondal during the inspection.

The delegation visited Mela Mandi Ground, the government-owned Radio Station building on

Club Road, and the former wheat storage warehouse located beneath the old bridge.

Officials from the relevant departments briefed the DC on the status and utilization of each site.

During the visit, the deputy commissioner reviewed possibilities for the effective use, protection,

and commercial utilization of government land and buildings in line with the Punjab government's revenue enhancement strategy.

He directed the concerned departments to prepare a comprehensive record of all government

assets and develop practical proposals to utilize these properties for public benefit while

ensuring compliance with government policies.
