DC orders better cleanliness, waste management

BAHAWALPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Jun, 2026) the implementation of cleanliness initiatives, improvement of civic facilities and city beautification projects

has been accelerated across Bahawalpur.

In this regard, Deputy Commissioner Bahawalpur Syed Hassan Raza visited Model Town B and Kausar Colony, where he reviewed the ongoing cleanliness operation, development activities and civic facilities in detail.

During the visit, the deputy commissioner inspected roads, streets, green belts, drainage arrangements, timely disposal of waste and overall cleanliness measures.

He also received a briefing from the concerned officials regarding progress on ongoing projects.

Syed Hassan Raza directed the relevant departments to ensure that all cleanliness-related activities are completed according to high standards so that citizens can be provided with a clean, healthy and pleasant environment.
