DC Matiari directs officers to ensure effective resolution of revenue, public issues

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Mar, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Matiari Muhammad Yousif Shaikh has said that all officers must perform their duties responsibly to resolve revenue matters and public issues, and ensure full implementation of government directives so that administrative performance in the district can be further improved.

He expressed these views while presiding over an important meeting regarding revenue matters held at the Deputy Commissioner Office Matiari.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on several important matters including the latest status of the fire safety audit, monitoring of prices of flour and other essential commodities, the anti-rabies campaign, issues of katchi abadis (informal settlements), court cases, certificates of SPHF and village development schemes, special review of the Record of Rights, headquarters leave, tree plantation campaign, results of the PLC meeting, vaccination campaign, anti-encroachment drive, the Sukkur–Hyderabad Motorway (M-6) project, allocation of land for various development schemes of the Public Health Engineering Department and other related matters.

It was informed that under the revenue record digitization initiative, the work has initially been completed in two dehs of taluka Matiari including Deh Matiari and Deh Palijani, while work is also underway in Deh Nizamani and Deh Ghoghat of taluka Hala. Additionally, the digitization process has also been started in Deh Zairpir and Deh Saeedabad of taluka Saeedabad.

The Deputy Commissioner directed the officers to expedite official matters and take practical steps to provide maximum facilities to the public.

The meeting was attended by ADC Matiari-I Waqas Malook, ADC-II Iqra Janat, Assistant Commissioner Matiari Abdul Sattar Sheikh, Assistant Commissioner Saeedabad Abdul Shakoor Solangi, Assistant Commissioner Hala Dr. Mazahir and other relevant officers from the revenue department.
