DC Khushab reviews progress of beautification projects; stresses quality, timely completion

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Jul, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Khushab Dr Jahanzeb Hussain Labar on Monday paid a surprise visit to Kalma Chowk, Chhatri Chowk, Kabli Gate and adjoining areas to inspect the ongoing beautification works being carried out under the Punjab Development Programme.

According to the official spokesperson here, during the visit, Assistant Director Punjab Development Programme Qasim Lali and CEO Municipal Committee Khushab Sundas Rabail briefed the deputy commissioner on the progress of the projects.

Dr Labar inspected the installation of tuff tiles and concrete slabs on Chhatri Chowk and Tehsil Office Road, besides reviewing the construction of drains and the drainage system being developed to improve rainwater disposal during the monsoon season.

The DC directed the relevant officials to ensure the use of high-quality construction materials, emphasizing that no compromise would be tolerated on the quality of work.

He also instructed the departments concerned to complete all beautification projects within the stipulated timeframe.

He further stated that the ongoing works under the Punjab Development Programme would be monitored on a daily basis and that he would personally supervise the progress to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
