Sardar Shah meets mayor, discusses education, development

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Jul, 2026) Sindh minister for education Syed Sardar Ali Shah visited the mayor secretariat on Monday and held a meeting with mayor Kashif Ali Shoro to discuss education and ongoing development initiatives in the city.

According to a statement issued by the mayor secretariat, the meeting was attended by Pakistan Peoples Party leader Huma Naqvi, Fareed Qureshi, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Member of the Sindh Assembly Rehan Rajput, elected representatives and other dignitaries.

On the occasion, Kashif Ali Shoro presented the provincial minister with a traditional Sindhi cap, Ajrak and a bouquet as a gesture of welcome.

During the meeting, Syed Sardar Ali Shah appreciated the mayor's efforts for the implementation of development projects and urban improvement in Hyderabad. He assured that the Sindh government would continue to extend full support for improving the education system, enhancing educational facilities and implementing public welfare projects in the city.
