DC inaugurates Susan Road light sculpture

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Feb, 2026) Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz’s directive has transformed Faisalabad city with illuminations as Deputy Commissioner (DC) Captain (Retired) Nadeem Nasir inaugurated a modern light sculpture on Susan Road here on late Tuesday night to welcome the holy month of Ramazan-ul-Mubarak.

The city has been beautifully illuminated with colorful lights and electric installations which enhanced its aesthetic appeal and created a vibrant atmosphere in connection with the upcoming fasting month.

On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that the initiative was taken to highlight positive image of the city while adding to its festive spirit.

He said that installation of light sculpture on Susan Road marked an important step toward beautifying the city and promoting a positive civic identity.

Development and beautification projects would continue for improving urban landscape and providing healthy recreational spaces for citizens, he added.

Assistant Commissioner City and Director General Parks & Horticulture Authority (PHA) along with other officers also attended the inaugural ceremony.

The newly installed light sculpture has quickly emerged as a landmark attraction for residents, drawing appreciation from the citizens who termed the initiative a welcome move.

They expressed hope that such beautification efforts would continue especially during significant religious and national occasions to enhance charm and community spirit of the city.
