DC imposes section 144 at intermediate examination centers

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd May, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry has imposed Section 144 within

the limits of examination centers across the district to ensure peaceful and transparent

conduct of Intermediate (Part I and II) Annual Examinations 2026.

According to the order issued, the entry of any irrelevant person other than candidates

and examination staff within a radius of 100 yards of examination centers will be prohibited.

Similarly, unauthorized persons have also been banned from bringing mobile phones, electronic

and communication devices and examination-related materials.

The Deputy Commissioner said the purpose of implementing Section 144 was to make

the examination process transparent, orderly and peaceful so that candidates could take

the examinations in a conducive environment.

He has issued instructions to the relevant institutions and law enforcement agencies

to ensure strict implementation of the orders. This order will come into effect immediately

and will remain effective for 30 days.
