DC hosts dinner, distributes uniforms at Model Children Home

SIALKOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Apr, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Sialkot Saba Asghar Ali hosted a dinner in honour of girls residing at the Model Children Home and distributed uniforms among them, reaffirming the administration’s commitment to child welfare.

Addressing the ceremony, the deputy commissioner said that care, education and a secure future for orphaned and underprivileged children were a shared responsibility of the state and society. She stressed the need to provide quality education, a safe environment and equal opportunities to help the girls grow into confident and responsible citizens.

Saba Asghar said the district administration would continue extending full support to welfare institutions and take all possible measures to safeguard children’s rights. She urged philanthropists and well-off individuals to step forward and contribute to the upbringing and education of such children.

District Police Officer Captain (retd) Dost Muhammad also attended the event. Later, the deputy commissioner and DPO distributed uniforms among the resident girls.
