ATTOCK, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Apr, 2026) Deputy Commissioner (DC) Attock Rao Atif Raza and DPO Sardar Mavarhan Khan reviewed preparations for Baisakhi celebrations on Sunday at Gurdwara Panja Sahib.
According to APP correspondent, the event marks the 327th birth anniversary of the Khalsa. Over 2,800 Sikh pilgrims from India are expected to attend, with arrangements made for boarding, lodging, transportation, and security.
Raza ensured pilgrims can perform rituals peacefully.
The pilgrims will participate in main Baisakhi rituals, then visit other sacred sites, including Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur and Gurdwara Rohri Sahib.
They'll proceed to Lahore, returning to India via Wagah Border on April 19. Raza highlighted Pakistan's efforts to facilitate religious tourism and promote interfaith harmony.
The event reflects Panja Sahib's enduring religious significance. Security and logistics are in place for a smooth event.
