ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Apr, 2026) Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Islamabad Muhammad Sarfraz Virk visited various police facilitation centres to review the implementation of the paperless licensing system across the capital.
An ITP official told APP on Monday that the CTO inspected different service centres and assessed the functioning of the paperless system.
Virk reiterated that ITP’s licensing system had been made completely paperless.
Virk said special counters had been established for women and senior citizens to facilitate them.
He said citizens were no longer required to bring any documents for obtaining a driving licence.
CTO directed that citizens should only bring their original CNIC to get their licences issued.
He said the licensing fee system would also be digitized soon.
CTO Virk said complaint cells had been established at every service centre where citizens could register their complaints related to licensing.
He said citizens holding learner permits for professional licences were advised to obtain their licences within the stipulated time.
