CTO Lahore extends Eid-ul-Fitr greetings

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Mar, 2026) Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Lahore Dr.Athar Waheed on Saturday extended Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to citizens of Lahore, announcing that comprehensive traffic arrangements had been finalized to ensure smooth flow of traffic during the festive days.

The CTO, along with SP Headquarters Mansoor Ul Hassan and other officers, offered Eid prayers with traffic wardens at Traffic Police Lines Manawan.

After Eid prayers,Dr. Athar Waheed visited the field to exchange Eid greetings with on-duty traffic wardens and distributed sweets among them.

On his directions,traffic wardens have been deployed at mosques,open congregations and Eidgahs across the city.

He said that under the supervision of divisional officers,circle officers and all field staff would ensure uninterrupted traffic flow.

The CTO directed that the Traffic Response Unit would take immediate action against one-wheelers and hooliganism on busy roads,adding that Safe City cameras would also be utilized to curb over-speeding and one-wheeling.

He said that traffic police would continue performing their duties as usual during Eid-ul-Fitr, and appreciated officers and personnel for their excellent performance during Ramadan and Chand Raat.
