CPO reviews security arrangements at Niamoana cattle market

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th May, 2026) City Police Officer (CPO) Tanveer Hussain visited the Niamoana cattle market and reviewed security arrangements, traffic management and facilities being provided to citizens and traders during Eid-ul-Azha.

During visit, Senior Superintendent of Police (Operations) Imran Ahmed Malik, Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Nasir Javed, SP Saeed Ahmed and other police officers also accompanied the CPO.

The CPO inspected overall security arrangements at the cattle market and reviewed measures taken for smooth traffic flow, crowd management and parking facilities for visitors and buyers.

He directed officers concerned to further improve parking arrangements, regulate traffic effectively and ensure proper crowd control to facilitate citizens visiting the market for purchase of sacrificial animals.

He also ordered provision of maximum possible facilities and assistance to traders, buyers and families visiting the cattle market during Eid days.

Police officials briefed the CPO regarding deployment of police personnel, security monitoring and traffic management plans implemented at the market.

Special police teams were activated to prevent pickpocketing, theft and other criminal activities in and around the cattle market, while additional police force was deployed to ensure foolproof security arrangements.

Speaking on the occasion, the CPO said that no negligence or carelessness regarding security would be tolerated and directed officers to maintain strict vigilance at all entry and exit points of the cattle market.

He said that protection of life and property of citizens and provision of a peaceful environment are top priority of police during Eid-ul-Azha.

He directed police personnel to remain courteous with citizens and ensure prompt response in case of any emergency or public complaint.
