CPO reviews crime situation,directs strict action against criminals

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Mar, 2026) City Police Officer (CPO) Sahibzada Bilal Umar on Tuesday chaired a meeting with officers of the District Intelligence Branch to review the crime situation across the district.

According to a police spokesperson,the meeting reviewed overall law and order and performance of field officers.

The CPO was briefed on the progress of heinous cases and ongoing investigations.

During the session,Sahibzada Bilal Umar directed officers to ensure strict legal action against drug dealers,gamblers and habitual offenders.

He also stressed the need to expedite investigations, improve the challan ratio, enhance recoveries from arrested gangs, and take effective measures to curb crime.

He reiterated that the protection of citizens’ lives and property remains the top priority of the police and instructed officers to perform their duties with dedication to maintain law and order in the district.
